Health Fitness Revolution founder Samir Becic is currently attending Habsburg Princess Tatiana Galitzine’s wedding to Guillermo Sierra in Mexico City, Mexico. Guests and hosts have been enjoying an adventure packed few days in Mexico, soaking up all the sites and rich culture of the groom’s country. They have been treated to a guided tour of the city, an excursion to the Teotihuacan Pyramids, a guided walking tour of the Castillo de Chapultepec and the Museo Nacional de Antropología, and welcome cocktails on Friday.
A little background on the love story that prompted this Royal Mexico City wedding: Tatiana had picked up and moved from San Francisco after getting recruited by Gensler Architecture firm in downtown Houston. Guillermo Sierra, a recent Wharton business school graduate from Mexico City, happened to be working for an investment banking firm next door to Gensler, where they would cross paths during their long respective work days. One fateful day, Guillermo decided to start a conversation with Tatiana outside their building, eventually asking her out on a date.
On their first date, it became apparent that they not only ran in the same social circles with many of the same friends, but that they had attended many parties at the same time, with their paths never crossing. From then on, the rest was history. A whirlwind engagement followed six weeks later, with both Tatiana and Guillermo quickly realizing they were soulmates. Tatiana told Papercity in an interview that “After our first date, I knew he was the love of my life and so did he, and he proposed shortly after. And I said yes straight away.”
Tatiana is based in Houston, TX and is a personal friend of Samir’s wife Dijana. Tatiana’s family is currently based in Houston and is known in the community for their philanthropic endeavors and generosity. The Houston’s Habsburg bride is daughter of Princess Maria Anna Galitzine (daughter of Archduke Rudolf of Austria, who was the youngest son of Emperor Charles I of Austria and Empress Zita of Bourbon-Parma) and Prince Piotr Galitzine, a Russian aristocrat. Maria Anna and Piotr Galitzine have six children, four boys and two girls.
Samir is honored to be attending the elegant wedding of Princess Tatiana von Habsburg and Guillermo Sierra, and happy to be back in Mexico City where he worked extensively with several private school and universities as their health and fitness expert. He wishes the happy couple many years of happiness, love, and especially, good health!
